Mao the Demon Queen is an original character created by Sophia Proulx. This is a portrait of Mao was created following her coronation, as Queen of Azur, the underworld kingdom. In Azur, it is a tradition to have a portrait in order to show off your strength when you become the ruler. Mao took the throne of Azur after her father mysteriously passed away on her 14th birthday. After she was made queen as a young teenager, she devoted her life to finding out what happened to her father and protecting the demon kingdom. Mao controls blue fire, the hottest kind of fire, showing her strength like all the rulers before her.
