Preserving Our Culture, One Piece at a Time

Each year, the PLRAC purchases a piece of artwork from Open Sky, the annual Regional Art Exhibit. The work is presented to the Regional District in which the artist resides as a mark of appreciation to both the artistic talent that exists in the region and for the ongoing support provided to the PLRAC by the Peace River Regional District and the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. The artwork becomes the property of the Regional Districts (PRRD and NRRM) and adds to the permanent regional art collection.

The inventory of the artwork through the years is updated and kept with the PLRAC with a copy provided to the Peace River Regional District and Northern Rockies Regional Municipality. The PLRAC is also pleased to provide this archive online.
