Every Child Matters. I incorporated as many different elements as possible on this piece that represents the different nations. I wanted to include authentic hide, shells, antler, caribou hair tufting, porcupine quills, beadwork, sweetgrass, granny hanky, stones, yellow cedar ect. In honour of the many children that survived residential school and the many children that never made it home.
