‘Spring in the Rockies’ I have been told this eagles nest on Medicine Lake is close to 20 years old and this is the 1st time I have made the trip in the spring before the eaglets left the nest for new journeys. I thought this nest was my best opportunity to see the eaglets being fed so I watched the nest for the better part of two days. I watched the parents bring in two fish, sticks , grass to maintain the nest and the feeding of the two eaglets in the nest. It was amazing to see the care taken to feed the eaglets small pieces of fish.
