A night of Aurora in the Peace this winter found me along the Peace river taking pictures of the new bridges for Site C. The lights had slowed down and I was on the way home to sleep. I got back to town and noticed the lights starting up to the south of town. With this direction I had an image in mind .The Cecil lake church with the lights in the background. I arrived at the Church at 3 am and for the next hour 1 1/2 the lights danced across the night sky. I was in awe and it was quiet and Peaceful as the lights continued to move North and South across the sky. Driving home with the horizon lightening with the Sun rise I could still see the Northern Lights in my mirror all the way home.
