My name is__________, a local artist in Fort St John. The intent for this artwork was to mix traditional tempera wash oil painting techniques and appearances of this application with the idea of modern day advertisements. To give this juxtaposition of ideas a sign like quality I applied a matte coating to the background with a high gloss to just the portrait.
