MEET HILDE

Artist Bio:

I was born and raised on a cattle ranch near Chetwynd. After leaving for school and becoming a vet tech, I came home to work on our family ranch. Art has always been a part of my life, exploring different mediums and learning from the different people who have been a part of my life.

I find art a means of contributing to my community. Through the use of a wide variety of media such as pottery, encaustic, acrylic and water painting, I enjoy exploring various methods of creating by working with my hands and involving other people in the process. My lifestyle of cattle ranching allows me to have periods of time where I can gather together with other people and share the tools and methods that I have found.
