Born in Vancouver in 1986, Richardson was raised in Erin, Ontario, with periods of time spent living in Australia and visiting the South Pacific as a child and teen. She obtained an HBA from Western University in London, Ontario in 2008, and an MFA from Goldsmiths, University of London, UK in 2013.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, and is held in private collections in Europe, North America and South Africa. She participated in the Joya: arte + ecología / AiR residency program in Spain in 2013 and the Life Collection Artist Exchange program in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2014. She participated in a mural painting project for the Redbull Amphiko Festival in Soweto, Johannesburg in 2014. She spent four years as a faculty member in the Fine and Performing Arts department at Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario, and during this period she was also Curator at the WKP Kennedy Gallery.
She recently relocated to the Peace Region in Northeastern British Columbia to focus on her art making practice full time, and is currently preparing for a solo exhibition at the Dawson Creek Art Gallery in October, 2022.
