- The Mattebox is specially designed and constructed of high grade machined aluminum, for all dv / hdv cameras with normal and wide angle lenses. It is precision engineered with a swing away mechanism for quick lens changes. The Matte Box controls light better than a regular lens shade and offers the videographer the ability to use high quality 4x4 and 4x5.6 filters for image effects. This matte box is easily detachable. It is light in weight but is made up of strong material.
- The sunshade mattebox is simple and unique in design and used to reduce extra sunlight on the lens. It works the same as a lens hood. Sunshade/filterholder features a non-reflective retangular shade that allows for single or dual filter applications. This Mattebox has two 4"x4" and 4x5.6 filter holders; perfect for polarizers and combination of square filters.
- The rotating filter holder enables users to eject or install square filters without disturbing the microphone or flash settings. The Mattebox with rod support attaches to the camera in such a way that only a soft foam cussioned lens ring (Donut) contacts the lens barrel, so you don't have to worry about your lens during the bumps and grinds of capturing exciting footage.
- Matte Box Specification : 240mm x 150mm ABS sunshade; High grade machined aluminum construction. Precision engineered swing-away mechanism for quick lens changes. Compatible with wide angle lenses. Industry standard height with +/- 10mm adjustment. 2 dual-purpose filter trays, supporting both 4x4" and 4x5.6" filter sizes (rotating 360 degrees).
- Complete with top flag and two adjustable side flags in aluminum (all detachable). 4 neoprene donuts to fit lenses of varying diameters (diameter of openings 51mm, 64mm, 76mm, 102mm).
