- REBLOOMING EVERGREEN SHRUB: Autumn Angel Encore Azalea is a reblooming azalea that will give you months of beauty instead of weeks. Petite white flowers bloom in multiple seasons and sit atop glossy green evergreen foliage. These shrubs make an excellent foundational growth plant and grow well in mass. Standing at 3' W x 3' H once fully mature, this shrub is more compact and manageable than larger azaleas.
- WHITE FLOWERING BUSH: The encore Autumn Angel Azalea can be used as a focal point around the yard and garden to accentuate entries with their dense growth habit. In the spring, summer, and fall, the beautiful white blooms will become a host to several visitors, such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees.
- NO PRUNING: Autumn Angel doesn't require much pruning to retain its dwarf form, and you do not need to deadhead this shrub. If you want to prune your azaleas, be sure to do so immediately after the spring flower. Once established, light pruning may facilitate growth and flowering in future seasons. AVOID fall pruning as you will be removing buds that have begun setting for the following spring blooming season.
- USDA ZONES: The Autumn Angel is hardy in zones 7-10. Quite tolerant, these outdoor plants can live in full sun, but they prefer partial, dappled shade for optimal blooms. Water regularly, especially during dry periods, in the first couple of years. Like all azaleas, these grow well in acidic soil with a maximum pH of 6.5, but it prefers a lower pH of around 5.5.
- POTTED PLANT: Ships as a 1-gallon potted plant with soil from the Alabama Gulf Coast. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival. This plant is unavailable to ship to Hawaii and Alaska.
