The challenge was to question my understanding of the Jungian archetype of the The Self. I approached this by having a friend make a cast of my face so I could produce multiple copies (personas) to be placed on the bank of Saskatoon Creek near Rolla, BC on Treaty 8 land. Natural clay harvested from that cutbank is being used and is unfired. Each figure will quickly return to the land where it originally gathered. This process will be repeated and photographed through springtime.
